Nonsense, he's just a lamb lost in the woods looking for a light.
    We must be that light.
Media release of Toddles apologising, a letter from his mum, a 5 point plan to help him through this and 3 days locked in a room listening to KD Lang while doing fingerpaintings of his dreams will do him a world of good

And where do you envisage getting these good players from, exactly?

Even Noyce said he's "a work in progress"...which is exactly correct.

Anasta is not a forward, so he could play no 6.

...but what happens in 2013 when he leaves?

I'm not in favour of just giving up.

I just wish the off-season would come now so they can all go overseas, get wasted and I don't have to hear about it.

I see plenty of players in the cross who go out with their mates and don't drink, have a couple or get totally wasted. This is all just massive assumption jumping and we're about as sad as the TAXI driver who actually called the club.

It's true, "young people" 'sin', make mistakes, don't think for more than about half a second what they're doing.

See the mum in the link?

"The person that I was is not the person that I am".

That's what the 'sinning' players will be saying when they're about 40+ with kids of their own.

The players don't mean to insult the club, the sponsors, and the fans...sitting at home looking at 4 walls for them is boring to the max.
Holding court at pubs and having a few drinks is much more exciting, a normal life for guys their age.
Stop it, stop it right now.

                Please, please go away.

I've changed my mind, you cannot be a Downie. They make me smile.

You make me cry & my eyes bleed.

Did that last time - newsflash, it doesn't work. Nothing seems to.

All can we please stop all this crap about Carney being a "boy" and "boys will be boys". He is 25 for god's sake, not 18. Yes he's remarkably immature for his age, but that does not negate the fact that he is bloody 25. Old enough to take responsibility for his actions, not to have a minder and not to have his mother having to baby him - I reckon she's done far too much of that as it is which is why he hasn't matured.

The 'little boy' excuses were valid when he was down in Canberra, not now.

When do some expect Carney to grow up and be a man - when he's 50 perhaps?

Don't be hating on Toddles, for he knows not what he is doing.
All he needs is love, and love is what we must offer

How could you have missed the sarcasm

Moving on though, imagine what Todd will be like when he's 50...

Gotta go the mall, this thread has kept me from by shopping.

Canberra has all its good players already signed...there are no good players to buy.

                          Carney must be kept.

His mum said he's haunted by the early dementia death of his father and worries that his life will be the same.
                          Depression.
There is much going on his head, we must help him cope, not toss him out.

In our luck, it will still somehow get to the news. Dont be surprised to see Rothfield buy a plane ticket to where Roosters are going.
