Given the piss weak nanny state way Australia deals with alcohol these days, if your boys night out doesn't end with you being asked to leave a venue then you are a failure.

Newcastle is 3-4 years ahead of even Sydney on the "won't somebody think of the children" ridiculous restrictions on drinking, so I'm not surprised there has been "incidents".


Make no mistake, I am happy Pearce was moved on. Better for us, and better for him. I was annoyed at SKD going because, frankly, I think we would have been better served keeping him over others in our backline, and Watson was a big shame to lose at the time - although I think in hindsight he is worth losing given the halves pairing we have now. I am just sick of the constant ****ery the media keeps going on with trying to act like all these "incidents" are because of player misbehaviour and not piece of shit security guards enforcing lame ass bible bashing alcohol laws.
