Just looking at it now, picture of the 3 of them outside the hotel.

All dressed in really casual gear, all look sober, no reports of anti-social behavior.

Is it possible that they just had a quiet night at the pub, maybe on the punt who really cares? If it was a cafe no one would of gave a shit but because alcohol was there sound the ****ing sirens, forget the fact that there's been no reports of misbehavior. Is this just political correctness gone too far and should we all just mind our own business... I mean they are allowed to have a life, aren't they? Going to the pub for a quiet one with your mates is just part of Aussie life and anyone who has ever played a team sport knows it's a great way to bond.

We all read Martin Kennedy's article about the negatives of total alcohol bans and clapped our hands like ****ing seals yet as soon as the club enforces what we all seemed to agree as ridiculous measures our perspective seems to change.

Sure this is the positive thread that always appears when this shit happens but this is beyond ridiculous. Unless any new information pops up then I'd be happy with the club telling the media and cab driver to go get a life.

If they had a few which is probably the most likely scenario then they owe an apology to the boys (if they even give a shit). The way alcohol is referred to these days is 'binge drinking', I think this is what the club is trying to stop. I doubt the boys really care that they had a few quiet ones down at the local (if they in fact did).

Rooster 6 - they were tanked up. They dont look sober.
They have no respect for the club.
And believe me the boys are fuming.

Well its fairly obvious to me in that pic that all three were boozed up!
Regardless though, these guys have been in the papers way too many times for the wrong reasons (Carney mainly),the Club needs to act otherwise it will never end..

If they all agreed to the no booze ban then they have breached the trust of the other team members. The deserve a life for sure but an agreement should be bonding. To go out to a pub and have a quite night in the public eye is just stupid.

Although it's pretty clear they weren't geared up to hit the Cross, that isn't the issue.

It's not about 1 beer or 1 case. It is about respect for their mates, this team and the club.

I don't believe any three of them have any of this. It is a reflection on the attitude that has permeated throughout this once great club for too long.

When your teammates, the same guys who put their bodies on the line, the same guys who make Frank-Paul's extra twenty tackles a week, the same guys who protect Toddy because he couldn't tackle a teddy bear, the same guys who feel every loss, make a pact to not drink in an effort to avoid the spoon, and you do this shit... I would be livid, and ready to send them packing.

R6, it's not about anti social behaviour, or being dickheads.

It is about an agreement they had with their team mates, Carney Myles and Frank all agreed with the rest of the team that there would be a ban on alcohol.

A week later, they are walking out of pubs at 2 am.

Carney on his own swore off the grog after his efforts earlier in the year.

still later this year, he is walking out of pubs at 2am with reports of being drunk.

Regardless of the reports, the perception is there and perception damages reputation, not just for himself, but the club.

To get themn selves seen in that situation, Where is the respect from these 3 to the club, their team mates and themselves....... If they wanted a Drink, they should have just stayed at home, at least no one would have known.

Are these the same teammates that pledged to all us fans that they will try their best until end of season?

No anti social behaviour, so it's all ok? Fark me you are a moron 6

                    Your stupidity is well documented, but see if you can understand this;

The very essence of the game is based on playing for your mate, playing as a team. The whole concept of League is about the team

Now our team, well, they've had a really bad year, for a number of reasons. In an effort to try and salvage something from the season, that something being to avoid winning a second spoon in 3 years, it's agreed that no-one drinks for 2 weeks. So as a group, as a team, everyone agrees - no drinking for 2weeks.

3 players then effectively turn around and say "Fark you teammates, we're getting on the piss. And we care so little about you teammates and we care so little about you club, the club that pays us hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, that we'll go to the farkin courthouse on a Monday night and fark you"

If you can't see how having players with that sort of attitude in the club is detrimental to trying to run a successful team, then you're more of an idiot than I thought

                        A few things

Firstly, you'd have no clue what players were out drinking when

Secondly, those teams you mentioned aren't fighting for the spoon and don't have a no drinking policy in place

We are, and we do, you deluded farkin mong

So let me get this straight.

At 12.45 am Tuesday morning 3 blokes, out on the piss, hail a cab at Double Bay.

                            Destination? The Courthouse Hotel.

The cab driver recognises his fare. These blokes play for the Roosters.

He is so concerned with the image of the NRL and the safety of the general public that after he drops them at their destination he gets on the phone and calls the Telegraph.

They send a photographer to document this outrageous event.

                            FMD, talk about contrived.
