I find it even stranger that your conclusion to signing Cronk, was to get a premiership before retiring. Are you suggesting if he wasn't retiring, he wouldn't have put the effort in to sign Cronk, because he wouldn't be so desperate for a premiership. Politis has been trying for a premiership every year for more than 20 years. Signing Cronk has nothing to do with impending retirement.
