  • Heading for the Coast

Interesting to see that grub Watts tweet that it was a great day on the Gold Coast.

Tobin has heard that this whole thing has been orchestrated to get the club to sack Carney so he can join his mate Nate on the Gold Coast.

They are apparently going to try to get Prince to retire.

Tobin guesses time will tell but the first part of the puzzle seems to be in place.

Tobin will be very surprised if Todd plays for us again.

Todd Carney, Nate Myles & Greg Bird all in the same team. No concerns there......

You've got to wonder though JT, just how did the Daily Telegraph manage to have photographers outside the pub at that time of the morning?

Surely we'd ask the NRL to de-register him for the length of his remaining contract with us ala SBW if we sack him?

      Chook.

          http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/l...810-1imxx.html

There had been an item in a newspaper gossip column on Sunday suggesting Carney was back on the drink, after swearing off it following numerous, alcohol-related indiscretions. You would think mention of that would have been enough to convince him to lie low this week, but obviously not. Seriously, he must want to get caught.

A comment that questions his motives and adds weight to what you're hearing JT.

          Chook.

I don't know of a mobile phone that takes that quality pictures from that distance.

And it has been reported that one of the photographers from your rag just happened to be there with friends at the time.

              Remarkable co-incidence.

Can we do a swap - They get Carney....we get Prince. I reckon Scotty has a good couple of years left in him. Put the 7 in his back, play Jr at 6.

                      wants to get sacked?

All a player has to do is ask for a release

                        The SMH reports that;

The recent misconduct was a night out with Myles and Nuuausala, which was made public after a taxi driver who took the trio from Double Bay's Golden Sheaf Hotel to the Courthouse Hotel on Oxford Street, phoned a newspaper and requested money for the tip-off

The Gold Coast is a booze hound's paradise.

Cavill Avenue is run on alcohol-fuelled violence.
