I will admit I wasn't able to watch the whole game yet and I did see some good defense, but I did see some periods where it was far from what should be accepted.
The Sharks had bugger all really.
It seemed to be a much better performance compared that the crap from last week and improvement is good. you don't win premierships at the start of the year, unless your premiership is the charity shield.
While on that how funny that their premiership was a charity oneThe Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

great win, tough at the end defending all those sets, i thought jwh and tedesco were good, keary and cordner were great , fergo and cronk very good, still i was concerned early when the sharks split us a lot down robinsons side , we dont want to be a team who wins big one week and loses tight the next given our roster, not sure what to make of friends extended absence, i think if radley improves his dh service he proves nearly superior in all areas, but gee we have a hell of a lot to work on yet, but ill take 3 and 2, even 6 and 4 after 10 but improvements and consistency must be key factors from round 12 onwards.

We are a work in progress.
Good to get a number of wins early on but expect some losses in the early rounds too.
The fact guys like Cordner are starting to step it up means we are on the right trajectory.
Cordner did mention on the radio after the game that the offloads and other things will come due to having a player like Teddy in the team....
I was happy with the effort in defence tonight and the attack will eventually come.
The Sharks are not an easy team to put a good score on but without Maloney they don't offer a real lot in attack.....Originally posted by Bondi Boy
Pathetic!
What a rabble we are.

Daniel Mortimer is a bit of a forgotten gem from our premiership winning team and I hope that Victor Radley can replicate that role. I don't think it is any surprise that 2013 was arguably Jake Friend's greatest season without having to do it all himself and getting buggered, he is a fine footballer that just needs the work load shared.

Radley being such a versatile and fit player enables Friend an extended rest and I can see it happening more often over the course of the season.
Robbo's coaching future here may well depend on it....Originally posted by Bondi Boy

10 man interchange was great for Jake especially with such a great back up in Morts.
