Most here would say that Bernie Gurr was the best CEO we've had...

You can't have it both ways. Was it Bernie, or was in Politis in a purple patch...

If the CEO is just a Politis puppet why doesn't he get Fred Smith to do the gig?

      Noyce is the CEO.

      ...and just the messenger.

      The decisions come from above.

He probably has some say, and his opinions canvassed.

I think he does a good job, and is good in the media...cunning, and not as 'unknowing' as he seems. :-)

What what I can gather, Mr P seeks opinions from many people before he makes final decisions.
      Wisdom personified.

I'm sorry but it's been a long night of bullshit about Carney and I wanted to laugh.

No one gets shot anywhere...they get sat down, looked straight in the eye and given their final cheque, bye bye!

        Unlike at some other clubs!

A CEO makes decisions and reports to the board of directors.

              But not at the Roosters

At the Roosters the Board (Politis) interferes in operational decisions - decisions that should be made by people like Noyce and Smith

I don't think anyone is questioning that. The point is if you are a professional and you are unable to perform the job you have been hired to do due to interference then if you have any amount of self pride you would seek alternative employment. Noyce has been here for a few years now and if in this time he is being prevented from carrying out the duties he was supposedly hired to do then you would have to seriously question why he is still there.

there's every chance he won't be here much longer - Politis will have to have someone to take the fall and we're out of sprint coaches

At the level Noyce is at in sports administration it isn't as easy as just saying "That's it, I'm leaving". There aren't that many jobs around equal to being CEO of an NRL club in the field. Maybe he's trying to change things at the Roosters and have more influence. Maybe he is over it as you suggest he should be and is on the lookout for something else

Whatever the case may be, Noyce not having already left can't be used to deflect the blame from Politis for what he is doing to this club

                    Dear TonytheTool,
The axe you've been grinding for some time against Uncle Nick is infinitely sharp now. If you're so disgusted about the way he's running the club why don't YOU personally do something about it instead of carrying on our forum like a schoolgirl.
Go on, grow some balls.....so it's official, voice your concerns in writing to the club or if you're a football club member then front up to
the AGM and in no uncertain terms let him have it.
There's not much we can do but be subjected to your ongoing crap agenda against Politis which is now very stale, predictable and unwelcome.

We made the Grand Final last year, not even 12 months ago.

The wheels fell off the chookmobile this year, but they did at other clubs as well.

                      That's footy!

How do we know how much blame to apportion to Politis and to Noyce? Who here is privy to all the inner workings of the club?

The Chookpen should form a ticket and roll him.

                          We have the answers.

First order of business will be replacing O'Sullivan with Cogburn so we can finally land Brett Kimmorley.

                          Second, revert to Easts.

The club has been disappointing for well over 30 years ... Politis is the common denominator.. Sure hes a fan and was a sponsor and is well connected but for the good of the club we need a change at the top ...

It hasnt worked for long enough for us to know that change is required... The board are all mates, the ceo is the puppet ... The puppeteer needs to be changed I make this conclusion from everything I have heard and know over the past 20 years at this great club ... There are many on here that know also you just cant blindly trust someone based on their wealth and connections forever

The proof is in a 30 year old pudding of failure and continual disappointments ... This is not a reaction to the goings on over the past few days

Where the f&*^% were you from 1996-2004 and then last year? If we were disappointing in the last 30 years where the bloody hell does that leave Souths?
