About time Boyd stepped up. Captains knock.

Perhaps Cronk on his kicking game alone, his defence against the bigger blokes was great

I realised watching the game tonight that Luke Keary is a really smart defender, so many times tonight he stopped the sharks set plays from unfolding by knowing there next moves.

I gave Keary my motm...apart from his threat with the ball and two great kicks for tries, he did some strong defensive reads.

                Cords and SST were back...yo!

And how much better are we with Jake warming the bench...good knock again Vic.

I loved how Cordner was the first to congratulate Robbo (Reece) after he scored his try.

Hard to split Cronk and Keary. Both read the game well, defended terrific and kept the attack flowing.

Agree with both of Stringaz comments in that Keary is Maloneyesque in defence reads and Manu should have been rated higher. He did lose a ball early but the try was all Manu's. He called for the kick and Keary delivered and Joey timed the run perfectly. That try made a big difference to our confidence. He couldn't help getting injured. Give him a 6.

Interesting that Friend was given an extended break and Radley extra time. I thought we looked a lot sharper in attack and defence. Radley was rushing the line and putting pressure on the Sharks ruck. Laslty I thought Matterson (with some help from Cronk owned Graham tonight. Completely shut down the Cronulla forward down.

Seems to be a new thing about him?

As a Souffs player he always p!ssed me off because he is tiny, would get snapped and then would have a massive sook, hoping for a penalty. I would be like WTF?!?!? If you cannot take a big hit from JWH then it is not his fault, you shouldnt be playing NRL!!!

Guessing it is all in the coaching and he was told to stay down whereas Robbo has been like ,,farking get back up again and play to the whistle... we dont milk penalties here at Bondi, that is a Souffs tactic,,

My team scores on a much better effort but still lots of work to do overall one has to say

Attack - 6 out of 10 - need to score more running tries - I know tries from kicks are worth the same but cannot just rely on one way to score them.

Defence - 6 out of 10 - Sharks had chances especially through the guts and some poor reads as well when they went wide - meaning more work is needed in defence by all

                        12/20 divided by 2

A 6 for the Roosters tonight

Robbo - 6 out of 10 - lot of work to do to get the players up for each game - the good bad and the ugly still haunts the team performance each week - need to get better and be more consistent over 80 minutes.

Latrell needs to step up. He's walking around half the time and disinterested in defence. He needs to go looking for the ball more too as he's such a talented and strong attacking weapon. He's still one of my favourites though

Reece Robinson was better than a 4 tonight. We all know how terrible he was last week but he played a thousand times better tonight.
