Our backs are a real problem when it comes to defence especially against the stronger teams. They are either very young ( Mitchell and Manu) or known poor readers of defence like Fergo and Robinson. Our only saving grace is having players like Cords, Aubo and Matterson defending out wide amongst them. Robbo has his work cut out stopping opposition teams finding success with sweeping block plays against our outside men.

I admit my prediction only half happened... but it should've.

In the 57th minute after just scoring to get within 4 points at 14-18, Latrell gets nice early ball from Keary, skip fend through the hole and passes back to Keary to bust them open only for Keary to get too fancy and attempt a banana kick for Cronk rather than just pass for a try under the sticks for what could've been 18-18 with a kick in front to hit the lead at 20-18

I cant work out how he is in the side head of Aubusson. Mattersons defence is suss. Him & Fergo both missed Cook when he split them in around the 6th minute mark, he missed Inglis a minute or so later who nearly scored, he then got pushed off by Burgess when he made that big run halfway through the first half, Friend pulled him down from behind or he would of scored. Matterson has no sting in his defence but neither does anyone else (except Latrell & Radley) & he also has no aggression when he runs the ball. Yes he has scored some tries but all he had to do is put the ball down.
