Angus Crichton's 2018 Season

Has anybody been watching Souths games to see how Angus is doing? I have caught parts of Souths games but I can never bring myself to watch the whole 80 minutes barring the Dragons v Souths game because I wanted to see how the Dragon's were playing knowing we will meet them soon on Anzac day.

Had a massive debut 2017 season but from what I've seen from Angus this year he hasnt done much to be honest..... I hope he's just saving it for when he plays for us.

Solid but far from spectacular. Hasn't been breaking the line, busting tackles and offloading at will like last year. Keen to see what he brings against us. And more importantly what he brings for us.

I reckon the Chooks should have enticed Big Sammy across before Crighton.
I hope Crighton turns out to be a good buy. So will the Roosters release Aubbo or Matterson next year to accommodate Crighton?

He is just going through the motions. Out there dreaming of representing a proud club in the not too distant future. His body is at Souths but his heart is at The Roosters. Hardly motivating to put your body on the line for The Centrelink Rabbitohs.

Also, I have been watching the Souths games only to see how he has been going and his form has been down a bit but I heard he is still recovering from the surgery and the Achilles injury. I expect when he is fully fit he will kill it again. Just hope it’s not this Thursday night.

I think Aubbo has 1 more year with us left then off to Super League in 2020...

Yep. I read the article. That’s all good and well. The thing is at no point as yet have the Roosters made an official announcement on the website. Until that happens I would assume it’s not a done deal. Sorry to put a damper on things. There have been numerous articles out there saying he has signed with us but I go back to 20/12/18 article in SMH by Andrew Webster about Uncle Nick defending our cap and in that article he said Politis didn’t want to say to much until the deal was done. He said there should be an announcement within days. Well, that has not happened. Not on the Roosters website (that is). Just asking WHY?

The deal is done. The club doesn't need to announce it to make it 'official'

Crighton has been signed, deal done and made public back in February, he is going well, about as good as Cordner so far.

He's going as well as Keary did in his last season at Souffs.

And, well... we know how that signing turned out.

Do some homework, people... He was injured pre season and had a very limited off season.
