I get your point. I always rated Tedesco but that price tag has come at the expense of quality depth - something that we desperately need. We really needed to get a quality bopper and some mid range signings. By 2019/20/21 who knows what kind of youngster will be available.
Next year we will have another big money signing joining the squad which will lead to more imbalance.

I think our spine was good enough this year without Tedesco, which would have allowed us to be stronger contenders. As it stands we are one injury away from players like Robinson stinking it up or Aubo in the centres.

Teddy has come to a new side and has helped organise our defence that sits at the top of the defensive stats.

As we all know comps are most often won by the top couple of defensive sides.

Did Teddy not star in a reserve grade standard side for the past few seasons at the Tigpies???

The season is long. Our new recruits are in key spine positions and the impatient critics demand instant success.

Origin is over and things are slowly coming together. I’d like to think Robbo had some idea of what he was doing and planned to be at this point come Round 19.

As for Teddy he just gets better and better now that he’s been playing with the team for four months now, building combinations. Funny that.

Really wouldn't know why someone would start such an insanely stupid thread, but it has kept me amused for months.

If I can, I watch most games each week and Tedesco was just brilliant in a crap team like the Wests Tigers nearly every week. There wasn't much between his good and bad games just like Tommy T today always working hard in a rubbish team. It was always going to take time for Tedesco to find his place at a new club but his effort and desire along with his professionalism was never going to make him the worst recruit ever.

An Adrian Prozenko article recently mentioned that Tedesco was carrying a shoulder injury in the first few rounds, not to mention recovering from the mumps, plus a new team he was never going to start with a bang.

Let's judge him after he finishes his 10 years with the Roosters. Tedesco may well be the worst recruit ever by then, but more than likely he will be closer to our best recruit ever.

Lol i will see how he goes in games against quality opposition - that's where Cronk and himself need to prove themselves. Manly flat out laid down yesterday, our 20s would have beat them.

He was bought to win big games, added to an already succesful team. Lets see if he can achieve that.
