Tedesco our worst recruit of the past decade. Change my mind.

A lot of people are really missing the reason Tedesco has lacked effectiveness. He thrived at the Tigers when getting the ball in broken play. He would wait for an offload out the back and off he went. However our players have been instructed by the coach not to offload. This presents the problem as to when he is going to get the ball. Our attack consists of one out hitups or if we are in the attacking zone, passing side to side. This occasionally punctuated by a dummy half run down the sideline, followed by an overlooked kick back infield.

What I am struggling to understand is why we would spend $1m on him and not try to play to his strengths. You do not recruit top drawer players and then stifle them with outdated game plans that don’t suit the personnel. The frustration on the players faces is obvious.

We’ll just have to wait and see. He seems to be slowly fitting in and I’m liking him so far but I still am eager to see him hit top form.

Im not too worried about his involvement. He had 2 or 3 line breaks.

him not putting his body on the line against Inglis was a worrying sign.

getting stepped by George Burgess was a worrying sign.

not connecting with Radley after a break when we were launching our comeback was criminal.

Only as good as your last win/game- and well that performance vs the Vermin was not good one has to truly say - Wonder what game plan will they have in mind vs the Dogs next game - Cannot be okay then bad as they were tonight in consecutive weeks - just won`t cut the mustard in being a true premiership contender- any half decent coach could put together a game plan and beat them. They offer zilch in attack and the ruck defence and defence against offloads was non existent too. A better team than the Vermin would have put 40 or 50 on them

The Roosters forwards have zero offloads which makes it extremely difficult for a guy who loves backing up the middle to get the ball. I would tell him to stop wasting his energy waiting for an offload because it's never going to happen.
Keary goes from side to side and actually takes the fullback's role off Tedesco and he doesn't seem to be able to chime in like he used to at the Tigers. Friend I have no idea what he does besides tackle so there is no point waiting for him to do something creative. Cronk didn't look like much tonight either.

Friend, Keary ,Cronk and Tedesco all play different and they are all trying to work out what style they should be playing in the meantime the opposition know we don't offload and dominate our forwards. Souths went through the middle tonight.

I can only assume this was what Joey Johns was alluding too when he said for the fans to be patient. If it happens? Have to wait and see.

Nope. You are only as good as your last performance and it was a pointless win as we couldn’t back it up tonight. No team is going to win this thing based on a win one week and a loss the next. Consistency and stringing a few wins together will though. What we are is a rabble. A good rabble but still a rabble’ none the less.

As I said with all the talk of him maybe signing and then signing with the chooks - basically he played for a club that never played in finals footy the whole time he was there - If Tommy Turbo wasn`t injured he would have been NSW SOO Fullback in game 1 in 2017 instead of Tedesco - since they won game 1 Tedesco maintained his place for all three games - this year Tedesco wont be so lucky - Tommy Turbo will be NSW SOO fullback - basically we have paid vast overs for Tedesco who looked good in a very average side- Always an issue when better clubs sign such players as basically they really struggle to fit in as Tedesco sure has.

Don`t think the Tigers are too fussed in losing Tedesco/Woods/ Moses either

The Hotstepper? Who blunts the attack by dancing around in the middle of the park?
How bout you run/feign/support/pass.. take a tackle early, break into stride off a deep run up. It works, you'll see

Thinking Nick signed him for some Meditteranean flavour
                      ..it’ll be interesting to see

Gordon wanted to go...for family reasons. Club wished him well.

Teddy has scored tries and made breaks so far this season.
                          IMO he's a good player.
                          Maybe Mini can mentor him.

There is no way Teddy can be blamed for that loss.
38% possession and 27 tackle breaks against us at half time.
We were extremely lucky they didn’t put 50 on us.

tommy turbo is a more complete player IMO, although I’d wager Teddy will still be NSW fullback as he would be terrible on the wing while Turbo could slot into an edge nicely
Slater, Mini, and Tommy Turbo were not available to buy.

Manly and the Storm haven't won every game this season either.
