I agree, need to be patient, Robbo's current structures don't suit Teddy at all. As a result it is obvious he is lacking some confidence. Robbo has to release the shackles and allow the team to play some football. We don't have the team to play Robbo's powergame up the middle.

Last week alone he stopped 5 breaks becoming points before halftime.

Brainiac did it escape your attention that he did the same thing last night and was able to stop all those nasty linebreaks turning into points.

Couldnt agree more with you. I’ve watched all our matches and Teddy must have saved 10 tries so far this year. But our team’s not combining well and our tackling is the most ineffective in the comp according to the NRL stats so it’s hard fir our best players to shine when our forwards can’t get us field position and can’t defend well. Maybe we let some players go we shouldn’t have?

Sharks game as well. They split us at will in the first 20 but didn’t rack up points.

The roosters got killed up the middle 3rd.
The cowboys exposed it . Big forwards rumble up the middle hooker out of dummy half after a quick play the ball. Fairly simple but very effective especially with the policing of the play the ball and 10 mtr rule this year. We have to be dominant in defence so we can slow it down . Having both napa and jwh on at the same time is not ideal. Losing sst before kick off hurt us bigtime against a massive pack like the rabbits.

We don’t create any chances for Teddy with no broken field play as a result of zero offloads. Teddy is bored out there.

I just reckon it will take time for the cohesion to click fully. ATM we are clunky in simple attacking plays. Individual brilliance is our only real threat.

But that should change as the season progresses.

TedE looks fine to me.

GFs aint won in April.

If we are still playing this way post Origin that will be another story.

The "Rooster Way" should be to play with flamboyance and to entertain. Think of players like Dave Brown, Dally Messenger, Arthur Beetson, Brad Fittler, SBW...
