I'd be keeping him and seeing what happens next year with the new coaching team.
If he breaches the NRL's code of conduct Gallop will sack him anyway.

Absolute dribble,
The team had an agreement. They broke that agreement. Team moral is fragile at best and this just destablising it more.
What he did is not illegal nor immoral but it shows a lack of respect.
Put this together with his other behaviours and lies and I say piss him off.
At the moment he is far from our best player. He is not managing anything he is a mess.
I agree with Gallop, thats fine. But the more I think about he Carney should be punted, he needs to grow up.The Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

Next season looms, he'll be fit, he's managing his life, staying out of NRL's code of conduct breaches.
Like any of our players lately are our best.
Pearce is getting worse not better...and still throwing dumb passes.
Now Carney has to go to Newcastle to get tattoos...media harassment in Sydney.

The NRL doesn't hate Todd...but it sure hates SBW.
But it would not surprise me if you were a mate of his in real life the way you have defended him so vehemently like you did last time

Don't be naive, the only thing Carney is managing is to get more tattoos and to get himself a drink.
His head is in a ****t place and he is quite happy to cruise along as he is.
He can manage a decent tackle and struggles to manage a goal kick.
Before you go off with your grand ideas take the time to find someone that knows a little of whats going on.
Carney is a mess and can't be bothered changing. The Internet is a place for posting silly things

Problem with Carney is that he's shown he can't be trusted. Continually saying one thing and doing the exact opposite.
Management can't trust him, his coach can't trust him, his team mates can't trust him and neither can its sponors and supporters.
He is a bullshit artist. A talented one yes, but that doesn't change what he is.
Melon, yes the media give him a hard time, but he sure as shit gives them plenty of ammunition. If he can't handle the pressure of life of a footballer then get out of the game. Go and find a real job and see how he enjoys working hard for minimal pay.

I have been a vocal supporter of players having a life and being allowed to do what they want as long as it does not hurt anyone. Even supported Carney on his latest DUI as a heap of people would be over the limit after a few beers the night before and not just those on a bender.
The thing is though that the club is in a low place and it needs some stability. It needs some commitment from the players. It needs the team to act and behave like a team. They all agreed to the ban. Big deal that Anasta suggested it (if that is what happened). I think it was the senior players idea.
For those idiots to go out and more or less beg to be busted beggars belief. It is time for a clean out and get the club of the papers for the wrong reasons. Sack Carney and Myles. FPN is not a serial offender I don't think.....

Do you see the Panthers sacking Jennings?

Penrith Panthers drop Michael Jennings to NSW Cup for disciplinary reasons
NSW centre Michael Jennings has been stood down by Penrith for tonight's clash with Wests Tigers following a breach of the club's disciplinary code.
Jennings, is believed to have showed up for training on yesterday showing the effects of alcohol and will face a disciplinary hearing at the club this afternoon.
The 23-year-old, who was due to play his first game at fullback against the Tigers, will now turn out for the Windsor Wolves in the NSW Cup against Central Coast tomorrow.
Earlier this season Jennings was fined $10,000 by the Panthers for drinking while recovering from an injury.
