Jake is to small in statue to play lock.

He should model his play on Cameron Smith, and learn some of his tricks [of the trade].

My apologies Foxy. This is one of dozens of well thought out threads you have created in the last few weeks.

Maybe Sticky will put Friend in the NSW front row along-side Gallen?

              Like the second poster said...
There's a reason why he gets the most tackles AND most missed tackles. Most of his "tackles" are grabs, while he waits for the big guns to arrive. Nothing wrong with this (it's really helpful!!!) but Gallen is a different beast. Gallen's tackles are all complete tackles.

To suggest that Mitchell could surpass Friend is ridiculous

Just goes to show you know nothing about anything really, im sure Friend would look good next to Gallen in the NSW side ( with his QLD Jersey on ) u fool ahahahah.
Im sure when Mitchell comes on during a game Friend stays out there, so i guess they take turns at hooker while there both on the field to?

Go back to your fantasic BJ Soliola threads top class there.

Jake Friend has been trying so hard all year - he'll only improve as long as the rest of team steps up and takes some of his work load off of him. Well deserved man of the match today!

Well deserved man of the match performance.

The amount of times he makes first contact in a tackle is unbelievable.

If he keeps running like he did today, he will grow at the rate of knots.

Unlucky not to snag a meat pie today. He gives his all for the colours and it is great to see.

That's never gonna happen, he's a proud Queenslander.
