Great post NorfolkStreetKid. Can see you've watched the reply with a stopwatch. It may be a turning point. At the start of the season there were rumours of player unrest after the Pearce thing. Hopefully this effort has put them to bed. The side played as a team and everyone did their job.

Sorry mate I didn't quote Latrells try or Jake going off injured because we all remember those moments. I watched it again for myself because I wanted to see what we did wrong and what was good. I felt disappointed when I watched the game live, but watching the replay there was plenty of good stuff that nearly came off, and plenty of effort worth praising. Give anyone those game stats and they would think the Dogs would have to win, and they probably would have beaten most teams on that performance. After I watched the replay and noted the things I have listed I got a better indication of just what a gutsy performance it was by our guys. Cheers

Uhh - sure 'kid. Methinks you use a lot of words you aren't completely sure of the meaning of, like "brilliant", "awesome", and "fantastic".

It was a good attempt that resulted in one of the poorest results in the game of Rugby League, a 7 tackle set, and that's a fact.

Not taking anything away from our defence but the result might have been different if not for the dogs 5th tackle attacking options, which were rubbish.

This reminds me of an almost identical thread I made in 2005 after that game against the Dogs when Morley was sent off and we still beat them. I was wrong and I hope you are right.
