  • Sin Binning

Haven't seen it discussed elsewhere, but the decision to sin bin Latrell was diabolical. Absolutely outrageous decision:

1.) In no way is it a professional foul. Latrell got his timing wrong, nothing more.
2.) There is no way Foran, the slowest player, was scoring from there. 10 metres out, with 3 guys around him and Teddy in front of him.

Thankfully the decision didn't cost us the game, but geez it was a howler.

Sin binning Mitchell was a joke. If the bunker decided that.............. it makes the decision even worse.

Funny the bunker didnt see Ferfguson taken out from behind whilst chasing a bomb late in the match

That was the same touchy who a few minutes earlier couldn't see Morris go in to touch and then ignored, like the cheat Gerard Sutton, Radley getting held back when trying to dive on the kick that he blocked with his foot. Sure Radley got the ball but it is still a black and white penalty. Whose to say Radley would not have been able to run much further downfield if he wasn't held back. Last night was pretty clearly an attempted stitch up but the cheats couldn't get the result.

Some good points raised here. Why the holding back of Radley was not penalised I have no idea. I thought the only important break we got was the let off on the possible high tackle by JWH in the closing stages; couldn't see it from a decent angle though. But the refs let the play flow in the second half a lot more.

Morris was in the first row of the stands and tackled when he pushed that one back it was a terrible call.

He had knocked over 3 cheergirls before passing the ball.

The Morris call was a joke. The touchie was obviously daydreaming.

Latrell's binning was so dumb. No common sense used which is why the bunker was brought in right????

It’s strange that there are a lot of sin bins being given now but they don’t seem to be the kiss of death they used to be. I don’t know why they aren’t.

I think teams have become so much better at winding the clock down in the sin bin period. Kicking the ball into touch and dragging their bums to it wastes a lot of time.

It may be something to do with having to use or at least attempt to use your foot when playing the ball This slows the game up notably and I believe is a major factor for our woes in attack

This crack down ended weeks ago. Teddy didn't go close to touching the ball with his foot last night.

Really that is why Canterbury were penalised for this which lead to our 1st and only try
