Anzac Day and cup day are my two favourite days to be an Aussie. Anzac Day we reflect and thank those that have served to allow us to enjoy the lives we lead.
Cup day we party and have a punt on a two mile handicap that stops the nation, makes us uniquely Australian and am grateful for it.
Roosters are really lucky to play on this day and it's become a huge fixture each year.
The boys will be fired up for this one and I'm expecting them to have a red hot go.

I think teddy will have a blinder today,the merge are worried about latrell and manu on that left edge so they will concentrating on them a bit watch for teddy picking up an inside ball or 2 and going straight thru.i think we will win this by 8.

Manu not being a winger isnt great. But wobble head is good for conceding a couple of tries. Scores 1 let's 2 in. Aiken will be fired up for a latrell battle which could be tasty. I wonder if teddy has an Italian grandfather war hero to fire up for. Let's go easts.

It would be great to get a roosters win. Hoping so, so much but not expecting it the way we drop the ball. In top form we’d smash these imposters easily but we’re a long way from that. But GF’s aren’t won in April so we’ve got plenty of time to get our act together. Scumbags by 20 today but only because we’re still to hit top gear. Love to see an upset but not getting my hopes high. GO ROOSTERS!

How is the weather going to affect the game? Just checked the radar and it looks like there could be some heavy showers around game time. Our handling has been very poor so far this year, so it might be a slog,. we will need a good kicking game and much better ball control to win today.
