I posted this on the wall, I assume it correct, although from Rothfield & Wilson:

THE Roosters have been keen to deny it, but take it as a given - Peter Sharp will be installed as the club's coaching director next season, or maybe sooner.
Whispers that the former Manly and Northern Eagles coach will link up with the club have been getting louder with every poor performance by the Roosters. And while Roosters chief executive Steve Noyce won't say it publicly, the wheels are in motion for Sharp to take up residence at Bondi Junction to oversee head coach Brad Fittler. And while on the topic, don't think for one minute that Arthur Beetson's decision to help out at the club is evidence of a thawing in his relationship with the power brokers at the Roosters. Big Artie agreed to move interstate and take up the role for one reason only -to help out his good mate Fittler. But Beetson's arrival has had a snowball effect, with former assistant coach and football manager Paul Young now having nothing to do with the on-field coaching of the team. One well-placed and powerful Roosters identity was overheard admonishing his dinner guest after being told that Beetson was being hired. "Don't be so silly - it's just a ridiculous rumour,'' the Roosters identity said. "Artie lives in Queensland for a start and hasn't coached first grade for years.'' When assured the appointment had already been announced by the club, the same Roosters insider fell silent. Talk then shifted to speculation about whether it was too late to get another well-known NRL coach out of his contract and into the Roosters job in 2010.
Is it welcome Pete ??
