Friend can pass and made 138 of them - including two passes in the only Chooks try .

      Bloody joke
I think the refs go into a match and they apply the rule once but then are reluctant to keep doing it because they have obviously felt the impact of the criticism of too many penalties. All teams are guilty with players not playing the ball correctly. Unfortunately we either accept the game full of penalties which will be frustrating for the fans, or we accept the odd penalty so the referees save face, or much like the debacle of the scrums just let the play the ball be like tunnel ball. In fact I don't think there was a penalty given on Wednesday if I'm not wrong and against the dogs the only one given was to Sharon himself in the first few minutes.

salvo. Do as I did. I went to the match and paid close attention to the passes to ball players. Note the direction and the pressure the receiver is under for key plays and kicks.

Not it every time but at an alarming rate on key plays our playmakers are flat, need to prop or slow down to catch and this throws timing off.

I welcome your pov but please do yourself a favour and watch through unfiltered lenses. Those that have can clearly see the shortcomings in his passing game.

We've got some cashola up our sleeve. Add that plus what the Neanderthal on our wing won't get because he's shite and we land Oates. A cut above the rest.
I think I read somewhere that Oates sees himself as a future second rower, not a winger. And looking for a massive payrise as well.

All on the last tackle. He shouldn’t have to have put in that position in the first place. Every player that missed a tackle in that sequence has more blame than Fergo.
Yes, Friend rushed up on Hunt like a bat out of hell and then just let him stroll past.
It was only the second minute so I doubt that fatigue had anything to do with it.

CC, better still. With Oates' athleticism, build and versatility he could cover other positions for us too i.e centre.

Oates is just a left side Fergo. He has a few mistakes in his game much like Fergo. Both can jump for bombs in attack too BUT I think Fergo is less injury prone. I'm thinking that Fergo can cover many positions as well. he's got the size for it.

When comparing the two, i believe Oates will transition nicely into the 2nd row something which Fergo would struggle with IMO. Time will tell.

If they are allowed to off load but none of them do then dont you think Robbo would step in & say no offloads no FG?
I believe that none of the forwards are going to offload when Robbos match plan is to take 3 or 4 1 out hitups & then kick into the oppositions corners & then dominate in defence. Once they have that down pat & are winning the game by at least 10 points then they could probably offload.
