as good as Carney was last year it is evident on the back of todays performance we can no longer continue to put up with the circus that follows him around, yes he can be brilliant on his day but unfortunately as we have seen this year he has that dark side that continues to come out all too often.

I for one would much rather see 17 players busting their arse as a team, rather than the rabble we have been for much of the season with the likes of Myles/Carney/FPN in the side.

it has been long suggested that Myles was a cancer behind the scenes and it seems he has helped infect Carney as well and its time to rid the side of these cancers.

it was no surprise that we had one of our best completion rates of the season without the undisciplined play of the likes of FPN/Carney/Myles/SKD who are right up the top of our squad for errors/penalties/poor attitude.

As much as I loved beating the Dragons they've been woeful over the last 10 weeks, they've won 2 games in fact... lets not get too far ahead of ourselves.

Carney sober is better than Anasta by a massive margin.

Anasta made a few good plays but there was the duff pass to Mini, the panicked round the back pass that broke the play down when Soward deliberately (?) missed the bomb, to name two mistakes.

Everyone can death ride Carney for being a drunk, a sociopath, a loser, a bogan or whatever but he doesn't hasn't captained a team to a wooden spoon, Anasta has.

True, but the fact that the team performed without him is a show of support for the tough stance taken and softens the blow of losing him if we do make the right decision and cut him loose. I don't know whether Politis would have had the balls to sack him if we got 50 put on us.

Carney has been shit all season, he hasn't been breath tested when he's played but I'm guessing he was sober in the large majority of those games.

Personally, I would like to see the same 17 next week that played today. Let Carney earn his spot and really since Myles wont be here next year. give the young guys another go.

I know that was one game and the Merge have been iffy, but compare our performance today to last week. I know which 17 I would like to see on the paddock next week.
