Attitude and also having the extra forward in the starting side. When Todd, Braith and Mitchell are in the team we lack go forward and teams make easy metres. I dont know what punishment is the best for Carney but maybe a stint in Newtown to earn his spot back could be good for him for the rest of the season.

Given the erratic competition, and the quality of sides battling for the bottom half of the 8, it was certainly possible. Although i do not think we could of been challengers. Still a bit of deadwood in the team.

The youngsters coming through are very promising though and allow me to be confident about the future.

If we have a proper rebuilding season next year concentrating on culture and attitude - i can see us having some fruitful years.

Look at how Brisbane persevered with their youngsters through a tough '09 season and are now reaping the rewards.

Carney should have a stint anywhere but our club. Would you risk another repeat of this season ?

          Maybe a repeat of 2010?

without myles caustic influence next season i feel well more than likely gel much more as a cohesive team, resembling a lot of the good stuff we saw today, but with the polished technique of a professional team, a bit more practise and well see how we measure up against melbourne last game! that will be the telling test, not st choke! still a bit more work to do but i think smith was revitalised after his win over benny today?

I for one would much rather see 17 players busting their arse as a team, rather than the rabble we have been for much of the season with the likes of Myles/Carney/FPN in the side.

it has been long suggested that Myles was a cancer behind the scenes and it seems he has helped infect Carney as well and its time to rid the side of these cancers.

it was no surprise that we had one of our best completion rates of the season without the undisciplined play of the likes of FPN/Carney/Myles/SKD who are right up the top of our squad for errors/penalties/poor attitude.
              Now you say it.

if we lose next week, will that be an argument to keep carney???

the result of a game should not be the catalyst for keeping someone, he should be judged on the situation at hand.

The result has nothing to do with him getting sacked. IMO that was sealed early in the week.

It should of been done earlier in the year.

I'm all for sacking him tbh. He has been a major disruption in our season this year and theres absolutely no guarantee he can be trusted next year at all

If we are talking just in terms of talent, I think people are kidding themselves if they think we don't need him. His attitude can either get us to the top or the bottom

i think the desicion earlier in the year was correct. We gave him the opportunity to get himself on the right track. this is effectivly his 3rd strike at the roosters, i would not be dissapointed if the desicion was to sack him.

oh theres no doubt he has the talent to take us to the top.. but theres just too much risk now involved with Carney. I'd rather the club move on and search for more stability

To be announced! Iv'e heard a couple of outcomes on Carney. I hope he stays with Watts and Myles gone! He is on the outer with the players but his point to prove in 2012 could help the Roosters if we keep him??

I have heard a couple outcomes as well. 1) He is staying. 2) He is going.
