What we need to do is string some wins together, if we lose to this mob, we'll give it away. I'm expecting a big win on sunday, throw the structured rubbish away and play some footy.

Always worried when the same people predict wins and big wins as almost always the opposite occurs- They will be primed for a big effort no doubt after all the bad press - Which Roosters team will turn up is always the question but one thing for certain is Cronk needs to run the ball and others need to go looking for the ball and players needs to be proactive and not wait for things to happen - They need to take the initiative and HAVE the tenacity of purpose - As one of my Great Uncles did below - both Grandfathers and 4 great Uncles fought in that butchers yard of WW1- Lest We Forget- Should make 11/11 also a public holiday from now on - 100 years since the ending of the war to end all wars - except some b....... Austrian corporal started another one in 1939

      AMOR, William Reddie

On the morning of the 11th April, 1917 in the attack on the HINDENBURG LINE in the vicinity of REINCOURT, Private AMOR displayed the utmost gallantry and devotion to duty with one other surviving member of Lewis Machine Gun crew he kept up a deadly fire at the enemy at every opportunity. To obtain a more commanding position at great risk to himself he took his gun out in front of the line of trenches. In the retirement when practically all organisation and order had been lost and every man had to make his own way home in spite of enfilading machine gun fire and an artillery barrage he carried his gun till when approaching our line a piece of shell smashed the barrel. Throughout he displayed great judgment and initiative and the British tenacity of purpose.'

      Date: 4 October 1917

The Military Medal has been awarded to L.-Cpl. W. R. Amor, Lewis Machine Gun Section, 14th Battalion, for gallantry in working a Lewis gun single-handed under heavy machine gun and shell fire, until, his ammunition was exhausted. L.-Cpl Amor is the eldest son. of Mr and Mrs J. Amor, Clayton street, Ballarat East. He left Australia in September, 1915, and was wounded at Pozieres last August.

Manly are right in this unfortunately.
Offloads or no offloads for once it won't matter what style we play we should win.
I think they are getting ready to throw Barrett under the bus Des Hasler might be on his way back to Manly.

Hard to predict. But Manly are very, very desperate and this is a must win game for them.

Could almost say this is a must win game for us as well. We have the warriors next on their own patch and they beat us like a drum last time and they are getting some injured players back. If we play with the same intensity as the last couple of weeks I expect us to win.

It's been so long since we put 50 on anyone, perhaps things will click........... If we get an unassailable lead by half time, the game managers might put their agenda away for a week.

              I can't give up

We promise so much and deliver so little. We can only hope it changes. There's some reasons to be optimistic.

Usually I hate when we go into a game as big favourites.... but Manly are just going that bad at the moment I can't see anything except for a comfortable win to us.

Even over the years when Manly have been playing shit, they always seem to perform against us. Apart from the Northern Eagles days when we used to flog them.

Both forward packs have been as inconsistent as each other. Our backs far superior. Expecting a tough game, will take a win by one point.

Hopefully Walker does not have another "immortal" performance against us. Seems to save his best game of the season against Easts.

Gus Gould’s nine podcast said big news to come out of Manly tonight or tomorrow. Suggesting something to do with Barrett have enough of the leadership.
More turmoil out of Manly can’t be good for them.
                    ..it’ll be interesting to see

I'd go a tad further at this stage RC......

                            Manly over-acheived last year.
Barrett will jump on this as an excuse.................I saw doom with everyones favourite Barrett as a coach.
                            Struck me as odd.

Last year we lost 7 games and still came 2nd. We have 4 losses so far. I don’t think we’re as desperate as Manly are yet but we need to hit form quickly or we will risk missing out on a top spot.
