We were lucky to get the two points in the end. The two first half tries for manly were soft and we will cop a flogging next week if we play like that. The period in the 2nd half where we defended on our line showed a lot of spirit but that was about the only highlight out of a listless display.

Two useless sides (both of which look classy on paper) tried their hardest to lose. At the end of the day, the slightly less shyte team won the contest by 2 points because DCE pulled out his magic ability to miss a conversion from right in front.

3 - Trbo Tom takes the cake and I am sure the bookie who bribed him before the game will be very happy with his investment. Upwards of 3 crucial unforced knock-ons backed up by just as many kicks gone dead demonstrates that this kid is fit to play Origin for NSW. Move over Teddy and Fergo, introducing TRBO TOM!!! (Which even looks like a word borrowed straight from the special education class he attended all week in prep for the game).
2 - Daly Cherry Evans. 3 Absolutely absurd names given to the one guy... WHY?!? What did his foetus do to his mother to deserve that?!? Anyhow, his magical conversion from in front sealed the result, catapulting him to 2nd on the points tally!!!
1 - Both coaches share the points here for their ability to turn ANY roster into a bunch of deadbeat flogs. Seriously! Manly were OVER THE SALARY CAP!!! They have rep players all over the field despite injuries and are now ranked last. Easts signed none other than Cronk + Tedesco after coming 2nd last year and would be ranked 11th if it wasnt for the above 2 legends (whose names will go down in Easts folklore after putting in a better 80 minuts for Easts than our whole tram combined).

NEXT WEEK - EASTS PLAY NZ... wait... IN NZ!!!!! Fox have decided to show it on the comedy chanel rather than Fox sports as they feel that Easts fans will need a BIG sense of humour if they want to last through it without having multiple brain aneurisms.

I see us being competitive But we will also see the weekly regular **** ups by the same players at vital times in the match make us lose by 8-12 points

Luke is a massive loss for them. He would have carved us up in the middle.

I think it can go either way but this game and the next will show us where we are at.
