  • Where has the Jamie Coward Fanclub gone?

Coward showed his true colours today.

Spent the best part of the game hiding on the wing and letting that bomb bounce was disgraceful.

The Chookpen has many Coward-lovers. They were in full force after our early season loss to Saints but where are they today?

to be fair he was obviously far from fit.. although that's his fault for playing

His attitude in defence is, despite the nominal rhyme, literally cowardly.

Under the guidance of bennett, Soward shone.

Since bennett announced he was leaving, Soward and the Dragons have regressed.

There is talk about it being bennetts plan to prepare for the finals....but this is different to last year and his years at the Broncos. The dragons are already reeling from Bennetts Announcement.

We will see the Pre bennett Soward and Dragons from 2012 onwards

Soward deserves the praise he receives. Agreed was not a great day for him.

The guy is 4 ft. nothing and it amazes me he plays against giants, something I wouldn't have the nerve to do. I agree with Dubai, not one of his best days nevertheless it was good to finally beat that team even with some of our alcoholic stars out of the game.

Glenn Morrison was one of my favourites but Soward has taken being a cat to the next level.

I wouldn't say I am a member of his fan club but I certainly like the guy. Yes he has struggled lately but I think it is hard to argue he is a good player to have in a team. Yes his defence is questionable but I think he does a lot of other very good things on the football field. What happens once he is no longer coached by Bennett remains to be seen.

I knew Jamie quite well when he was at the Roosters and he was a decent young bloke.

Unfortunately after he went to the Drag Queens, as his profile rose, so did his ego.

I've no time for the pouncing, prancing, whinging, whining and sulking he carries on with now.

He acts like he needs a dummy shoved in his gob to settle him down.

Loved it when Anasta shot out of the line early in the 2nd half and nailed him in defence. It was a terrific tackle and despite starting off beneath Soward when initial contact was made he was able to use his strength to swing Soward around and obtain a dominant position. As he did so, he also drove a sly shoulder into Soward's chin. Soward got up and played the ball and tried to give Anasta a bit of a shove but Braith just got on with the game....he had delivered his message.
