    Yes it was encouraging.

I was at that GF and still carry the scars.
And if he could have caught the inside balls he would have lapped Brian Bevan.

Regarding SST,yes it was a boneheaded play but atleast he was looking for the offload throughout the game as opposed to head down and run.
say what you want about latrells tackle but tommy T didn’t catch many if any after that. Onya latrell.

i think this play won us the match

All those stupid bird brain ideas are because the players act with impunity. So they knocked the ball on, or they gave a penalty which eventually caused a try, it’s ok cause probably they’ll get a soft pat in the back from Robbo and the captains and they’ll say ‘better luck next time cobber...’ Imagine that happening at the storm? One false move and a player doing something dumb gets ‘the stare’ from Smith and probably a big kick in the arse from Bellamy.

The softly softly approach can only work whilst it’s balanced with a bit of reprimand. It’s both the carrot and the stick. I think the stick hasn’t been here for a long time.

Mate I suggest you watch the game again

Tommy T dropped a bomb in the 41th minute and dropped the ball on the attack with 10 metres out in the 49th minute

Latrell’s brain dead play was in the 60th minute which would’ve cost us a penalty if not for an interference..
Proceeding that play Tom dropped a bomb in the 68 th minute and caught one in the 74th minute
The game was still in the balance at 22-20 and Manu save the day defusing a bomb in the 79th minute

With all due respect to classify Latrell’s play a game winner is laughable

Lucky on that one as the original penalty was going to the Chooks - so it wasn't reversed as a result of Latrell's second infringement - I thought penalties could be reversed or they used to be?
