  • The Standard of officiating this week...

was the worst I've seen this year.

    Bulldogs cooked up against Broncos
    Storm cooked up v Dragons
Perenara and Stone in our game yesterday were just awful, contributing to a rough old game.

Now the citing of our pair for nought ....ffs.

    Its getting worse ..

(Apols to Ray Stehr for copying your style)..

It has been terrible all year really and definitely one of the worst years for refereeing that I can remember.

Bronco's will always get the calls as the Brisbane market is too important to the NRL to let them miss the 8. I knew we would get systematically raped by Perenara. I even called the Jake Friend strip penalty on the tackle before. There was about 7 minutes to go and turned to my mate and said there will definitely be a penalty in this set. There had to be to give Manly the field position to score a try. He tore us a new one in the Warriors game so it was obvious what would happen. The NRL blatantly script games to ensure the results that they need. Have been doing it for years.

It was rubbish yesterday. Flat passes were called forward against both sides, the refs kept falling for the flat pass that looks forward because the player throwing it is running backwards or sideways. And then there some that were forward but not called. And Perenara seemed to be blowing penalties for fun against us at times.

It was cr@p but it was consistently cr@p so didn ‘ t bother me too much. Our clutch moment was when we scored a try during following a blatant forward pass, so I cannot really complain.

Next week we wont be up against Trbo or DCE, so I am worried that the opposition might actually slot conversions and catch balls. Its a worry.

It looked to me like the refs in the games on Sunday were receiving instructions from someone through their ear pieces on what to penalise, that's why they came up with so many late calls. Let the REFS call what THEY see. I smell interference by BEATTIE
