  • Woooooooo!!!

Roger Tuivasa Cheque did more "woooo!"ing than Ric Flair today.

Let me guess he's one of those bros who's a wannabee American and his favourite sport is the NFL; hence why he acts like a linebacker who sacked the QB after every positive thing he does.

I was hoping to see one of our players lay on a savage figure 4 leg lock.

The merkin could have been a Roosters legend but now he's reaching Hodgo territory as far as reviled ex Roosters go.

Even though I had an interesting encounter with him in the pre-season which completely changed my perception of him I still can't put him in the Hodges category because he might be a gronk over in NZ but he never did it with us and he didn't pack it in like Hodges did either.

Walker, Hodges, Vautin etc they're in an exclusive category.

          LOL, the perfect reply.

How you like them apples RTS?

And as for his behaviour, I found it annoying. I think I'll go watch the worriers presser now.

Turns out he was right to Wahoo when he got those penalties. They ended up being the best moments of his day.

ha yeah i noticed that - all the bravado was on the back of them receiving penalties, it was extremely over the top and annoying. Cant say i got much pleasure out of seeing that from him, always held him in high regard even though he left us for the bucks.

It annoyed the Christ out of me.

I am interested to hear about IQ's "experience" because all the experiences I have heard of with Roger have been nothing but a pleasure.

I've no reason to doubt that he's a good bloke.

I think the problem stems from the fact that he's not captaincy material. At least not yet.

He has no idea what constitutes 'leadership' and currently assumes it to mean giving out lots of fist pumps and yahooos to rev up the bros.

Considering that club has been in a coma for mos of its existence Anything he does in an effort to fire up his players is a good thing Out of interest what do you think he should be doing

Yes I met them through playing Touch against them...and Johnny...seemed just nice guys.

Im not sure captaincy is Rogers thing though, and TJ mentioned him trying to compensate like this which I think is a good point.

I'd save the big rev ups and celebrations for trys and try savers. Probably not quite appropriate for winning a ruck penalty lol

It's like if a coach shouts at his players all the time it loses its affect.

Similarly if he's gonna act like it's the 2013 GF every time he wins a penalty I think the attempt to pump up your teammates will fall on deaf ears.

The Bears used to high five etc. when they won the toss.

                              p.s. i love the Bears.
