  • Next weeks game,,,,Big Bronx down

Both Alex Glenn & Payne Haas out injured for next week

I Expect a big rebound from the Broncos as they would have been embarrassed by that defeat - Roosters need to be better again in this game for sure to have any chance of winning. - Slow signs of improvement but much to work on in both defence/attack/discipline/ focus and intensity for 80 minutes.

The Broncos’ defence has been embarrassing all year. If we can contain their many attacking guns - and our defence suggests we can - we should go through them.

After their effort against the rabble that is Manly, the Broncos have a lot more to work on than us.

          Agreed.
If we turn up, we should go well.

Complacency will be an added danger for the Roosters when they play the boncos.

Not ideal facing a team coming off an embarrassing loss.

Yesterday showed that if we complete at around 75% and if our forwards run with aggression and hit hard we can compete and win against anyone. Brilliance in the backs is not our problem, just consistent efforts from our pigs to get us on the front foot. Hopefully we will turn up with a similar attitude next week and get one over on the Drongos. They are struggling with injury but still have some weapons with Boyd, Oates, Milford, Lodge, Pangai, Roberts etc. We can't take them lightly, but we will be too strong for them if we perform to the same standard as yesterday.

Irrespective of injuries their is no way the Broncos will play as bad as they did last night at home, they will lift and we need to be ready..
Will be a tough game but hopefully we’ve gained some confidence after last night and we can turn it on again!

I couldn't agree with you any more! ..... When the forwards lay the platform and get us on the front foot its incredible the pressure cronk and keary can build until the opposition's defence breaks. I feel we tried to get the ball to Latrell Mitchel a bit more too. Hopefully they can do it more next week. If we play consistent footy next week should be no problem with Alex Glenn and to a lesser degree Haas but they still have some excellent plays so we need to play to the same standard as we did against NZ

Salvo we just won 32-0 in NZ we already have a chance of winning on the back of that. I think if you keep a team like that to nil you managed to stay on for the 80. Lets give them some credit when it warrants.

Especially one coached by Bennett, up against his old mate Politis.

If we play as well as we did against the Warriors, we will beat the Bronco's. Their pack is horrible, Thaiday and Lodge as starting front rowers FFS.

Again, we have absolutely no right to be complacent against any team.
