What to do with Anasta?

Well I can't see why we can't play both Anasta and Carney...instead of shooting ourself in the foot over some stupid drinking ban that never should've been in the first place.
Carney will be fully fit by the start of 2012.

Play Pearce in the centres...he ran down the left side like a centre in Origin.
Play Carney in the centres in attack.
Think outside the square!...anything to score points.

We're nearly last on the ladder...blame Carney for it all you like...but that's not the truth.

Play props on the wing.
Play second rowers fullback.
Play Mini 5/8, props running off him, onto Carney at pace and wingers on the end of the line.

I know Anasta isn't the preferred option at 6 but with Carney having the problems he has make Carney the Bluebags number 6, if he comes good then great promote him to 1st's if not he's still not going to hurt us and we can piss him off at contracts end..

It must really grate you that the team has performed so much better than earlier in the season without Myles and Carney in the 17. It shows that Carney is not the be all and end all and that the team can and will win without him.

How many times will the team win though, when the pressure is on and the games actually 'mean' something, like making the 8 and the 4?
Maybe Elliott will make a difference, but how much say will he have?

Why doesn't Mose, our biggest forward, start every game to hold the attack from the other teams when they're fresh and at their attacking best?

no no no no no.. The problem with Mortimer again is he would not compliment Pearce.. Mortimer is slow and lethargic and tackles like Carney... Pearce needs to have a dynamic playmaking partner so his tenacity and defense and yes much improved passing game ( (I am trying my best to find the positives) can be combined with someone with speed, guile, flair and elusiveness.. the traits Peace lacks alongside composure..

Replace Anasta with someone like Wade Graham? Is that what you are hinting at?

KB, how come since he has been captain we have seen no evidence of his influence? I don't doubt he is an honorable person but the best way to set an example is to do it on the park.. When they know their captain is picking up the biggest pay cheque but not wanting to get his hands dirty on the field and more interested in getting his face on tv it can cause resentment.

I'm no huge Anasta fan but do you any evidence that he is getting paid more than Carney,Pearce,Myles or SKD?

Sam Tomkins would be the dream.. He is like Carney (Not Justin who is the Carney on steroids) on steroids.. Actually Tomkins is a cross between a sober Carney and Billy Slater.
