  • Carney's idiotic new tatts

Ok a little off subject and a little silly but has anyone else noticed Carney has a couple of newish tattoos around his neck and chest area? I think he has his father's name written on his neck and appears to have added a portrait of a woman on his upper chest.

    I like tattoos and have some myself but in my opinion he looks absolutley ridiculous. He is really developing that bogan chic style of his. You can see them in the pic in this story;

      You mean this...

I think getting a sleeve is to the '10s what getting a tribal band was to the '00s and what a sailor or anchor were to the '70's.

        Who was 'Daryl'?

Could be offputting for a prospective girlfriend, being a 'tattooed all over' man.

Free country...he can do what he likes, as long as it's legal.

Trouble with tattoos, they're there forever.

Club chief executive Steve Noyce told The Daily Telegraph the three players will not be considered for selection in Saturday night's match against Cronulla at the SFS.

The players will also be banned from playing with NSW Cup feeder club the Newtown Jets.

Roosters management yesterday officially issued breach notices to Todd Carney, Nate Myles and Frank Paul Nuuausala for breaking a booze ban last week.

Asked whether the players would be chosen when the Roosters side is announced this afternoon, Noyce said: "No. They have been stood down again. We will see what happens after this week."

A cab out of the place permanently most likely.

See any stupid booze bans at other clubs?

Now Todd can't even read the paper without abuse.

TODD Carney has never been the coldest can in the fridge, as much as he might like to drink from it.

When the pictures emerged on Thursday of him reading in The Daily Telegraph about his own demise, it barely surprised some at the Roosters.

"That's him, mate," reckons one Roosters type. "He loves the attention. The bloke thinks he's a rockstar."

Carney's future genuinely remains undecided, because if he stays there is some chance there will be a mutiny.

Some of Carney's teammates took him out to dinner on Thursday night, such is their love for him, but they would also like to see him gone.

                Not to be outdone

WHILE Carney, Nate Myles and Frank-Paul Nuuausala were drinking on the southside of the harbour, police were being called to an incident involving Manly players on the northside.

We can reveal that an altercation involving Sea Eagles players happened at the Oaks Hotel in Neutral Bay. Police were called to the pub at 9.20pm to attend a minor disturbance, but they did not want to make a big deal out of it when contacted.

We phoned Manly chief executive David Perry, and he said he had seen CCTV footage and was satisfied there had been no wrongdoing.

"They had gone there to watch the footy and have a steak," Perry said. "Someone known to one of the players had made a comment and it went from there. It wasn't initiated by one of our players."

                What 'went from there'?

                What exactly happened?

                Where are the photos?
Where are the Daily Drag articles?
                Where's the live press conference?

                Where are the details?

Oh that's right it's 'koala' Manly?

And it was that trouble maker Junior's mate.
Alcohol never solved any life problems.....then again neither did milk.

Yes, his father, best mate and mentor...after whose death Todd went off the rails.

                    It's sad really.
                    His grief must've been/be intolerable.

Maybe the bright lights and alcohol help him cope and 'forget' for a few hours.

"From early days i was the keenest of [Eastern Suburbs] fans. Many, many times I sat on the hill at the sports ground and SCG and watched Easts in there red, white and blue. When I look back now I'm very, very proud of the fact that I never played with another club. They were my club."

                          - Ferris Ashton.

Sometimes players never get that chance, as the club doesn't re-sign them, buys a new star, and moves them on.

They're not "idiotic new tatts".. They each have a special meaning to him. Who are you to criticize something you don't know the meaning of?

I'm entitled to my opinion. Special meaning or not I think they look stupid. I know the Daryl tattoo is for his father. Don't know the significance of the portrait. My opinion is they look like shit. If you like them then good for you.
