I can't remember Cronk having a more inconsistent season.

It was always going to happen but I still thought it would be more on the positive side than the negative.

cronk doesnt have smith, slater with him this time. The best 2 players in their positions possibly of all time. Not to mention a great disciplined coach in bellamy. Instead he is surrounded by dumbos and a naive coaching staff. His 34 and isnt no messiah. He is having a mediocre season for the money he is on thats the facts idc what anyone says.

I suspect this is probably right. It was a vanity signing by the chairman.

Its a real concern. Quality halfbacks are hard to come by. We had one with plenty of years left but blew it.

He did... with minutes to go he got a ridiculously good line break, passed wasaaay back to his man and it was called a knock-on... or something.

It was like one of those rigged boxing matches back in the day where you see a guy get his ar$$$e kicked then be awarded to win unanimously. Broncos got their head handed to them on a plate... it was our game and IMO it was just so badly taken away from us, even from the kickoff.

So many dud calls. A loss is fine, but we won!!!! So infuriating.

The silver lining could be that Roberts gets picked for Origin. Please!!!! Unfortunately, Freddy and co will probably walk away saying it was a rigged game (behind the scenes) so we will lose the 2 points that we won last night and we will lose our entire backline during Origin. Faaaaark me!!!!

PS - I seriously question Roberts being fast. I see some guys (like Pearce) and their technique demonstrates they are fast. IMO Roberts never ran 100m in 10 seconds. Put it over to Shervo... hey mate you ran 100m in 10 seconds... ever heard of James Roberts being faster than you? Nup? Never made nationals... was never in any junior international comps. Doubtful he ran a time that woulda made him one of Australias fastest aged 16 without any sprint training... must kill the guy to keep hearing that some bulky dude is anywhere near as fast as he was when prepping for the olympics.
