Thats why i wrote that the roosters would have offered him what "THEY" think is fair.

What THEY think is fair may be good, bad, indifferent or otherwise, unless they provide a figure, we can only assume what they offer is what the Roosters think is fair.

    Think about it.

I did, and it makes no sense

There is no way you can ascertain that the Roosters offered him a deal that THEY (The Roosters) thought was fair

They may well have offered a deal that they didn't think was fair, hoping to get themselves (The Roosters) a good deal. A good deal is where you get something for less than it's worth.

I have to agree with you here.. Player managers and clubs both don't care for being fare.

If he is such the 'Alcoholic' some on here say he is, where are the pictures, or the news reports, or the news story, or anything? We are talking about the Roosters and a Roosters player. If he was down the pub as often as others say then he'd be front page news, instead its just rubbish rumour and guessing he drinks a bit because they read it in a post in Feb 2010 from someone because he looked out of shape or something.

Everytime there is a thread someone claims that he enjoys a drop or 10, well prove it.
          It sh!ts me.

Nobody that is after a good deal thinks about being fair.

Big Boppa Pumpa - G Banger has a point why cloud the sky with your insinuations, he is playing top footy at the moment so why muck rake.
I offered to buy him a drink and he was on water - cheap shout I know, but that is first hand, let me know when you offer.

Just a quick one on the over seas deal, he was seen with a " returned Union coach" recently, so it is plausible, but unlikely - just yet.

                              A good balanced pack...

                              grafting prop (50 mins)
                              hooker
                              grafting prop (50 mins)
                              left fringe backrower (80 mins)
                              right fringe backrower (80 mins)
                              grafting tight lock (50 mins)

                              utility
                              impact tight lock (30 mins)
                              impact prop (30 mins)
                              impact prop (30 mins)

I'd love to see Aubusson playing for 80 minutes on the right, one of Lowe/Guerra/Symonds/Leilua playing for 80 minutes on the left, Cordner as the hard working tight lock in the Myles mould (but clearly more dynamic) and one of Nuuausala/Takairangi/Arona as the offloading tight lock in the Tupou mould.

                              Lowe has the goods
Not often I disagree with you but I reckon at least one of your middle third players who start needs to add some impact.

We're lucky With Ryles & Kennedy that they both make good metres per run but a perfect example is the 'dogs who have Tolman (the true meaning of a grafter) who needs to be complemented by an impact player. I also think you need a grafter off the bench, a role Conn played so very well and unnoticed by many in our success last year. Also reckon you need a lock who can go the distance or at least close to it.

                              My perfect pack...

                              Impact Prop - 40 mins
                              Hooker
                              Grafting Prop - 55 mins
Left fringe player - 60 mins
Right fringe player - 60 mins
                              Grafting lock - 70-80 mins

                              Grafting Prop - 55 mins
Impact Prop - 30 mins (e.g Masoe, George Rose, Fa'aoso)
Utility backrower - 40-50 mins (e.g Guerra can play tight and fringes)

                                One for Kingbilly.

Sat with the suits on Saturday night. The word was Dogs waiting on a response from Guerra, he has a 3 year Dogs contract or a 1 year extension on his Roosters contract to pick from. Is that correct?
