What a great advertisement for the game that old fool is!! How are his monosyllabic press conferences tolerated by the game’s hierarchy? Thinks he’s bigger than the game. Well how did he go with the Knights? Almost killed them. In US sports, clubs and coaches are articulate and readily available to the media. They know who ultimately pays the bills - the fans - either through pay TV or game attendances. Accountability is a good thing - it creates respect. Whereas in the NRL, the supporters are told to be grateful that we have such royalty as the old fool in the game. #TalkTheGameUp. Or is it #TheGamesUp!!! Todd?
Being smug is the displaying of a sense of achievement. His team achieved what ours didn’t, with or without the refs help.
I’ve never seen him so happy - with almost a smile. He wasn’t smug so much, but not acknowledging the opposition and the farcical Napa call just proves he’s a wanka
