    That's far from moral.

Now every player bar a couple, are suspects...and the club is seen for what it is.
The problem with the others is that they are just that - allegations, with no proof. When someone can provide proof the Club can act, until then, it can't.

You don't reckon there weren't sightings of Carney out on the drink all summer?? But the club could do nothing until he tripped himself up because there was no proof that he had done anything wrong.

What makes me shake my head is you want to mollycoddle Carney when has been proven to do the wrong thing, meanwhile you're on a witch hunt to identify others when there's no proof they did anything wrong at all.

In fact there WERE numerous rumours in the papers that Carney was on the drink during the pre-season and that Smith was beside himself with frustration that no-one in the club would help him do anything about it. But like NC says there was no actual proof / photos / supportive statements to go with it - just as is the case now with these other alleged players. Carney didn't take heed of the warnings / lucky escapes back then and continued to risk getting caught until eventually he did.

Don't try and make any sense out of what Bondi-boy says. He's all for giving Carney infinite chances, he doesn't care if sponsors leave, supporters leave and that we become a laughing stock due to the culture within our club. It doesn't concern him that young up and coming players might steer clear of the Roosters in the future because of the boozy nature of its 'star' (and I use that term loosely) player. No. Bondi just wants to make sure his little buddy Toddy is looked after. Toddy comes first and the club a distant second in his thinking.

Alan Jones says we shouldn't just give up on young men/young people with problems and toss them away...that we should stay for the long haul.
          I'm with him.

As a long time passionate supporter I also want us to win more matches and get into the finals next year.

I see Carney as a vital part of team 2012.

          Sponsors are not leaving.
          Supporters are not leaving, yet.

The playing group wants to hide the ban-breakers? fine, then they should stop whining about being 'devastated' etc.

Well maybe Jonesy can mentor him. What's he got to do with anything anyway?

I don't think BB a troll - he just has a massive man crush on TC and it's clouding his judgment.

If it's man love it's the biggest case of it since the days of Soliola the Monster.

But I agree with TOK, Bondi Boy is a troll and one of the best I've seen.

Mate he was seriously weird. He scared the crap out of a few people on here by blurring forum world with the real world.

He is the only poster I know to be permanently barred from this site, the Wall, LU & WORL.

Try seeing my posts from the point of view of a red-blooded heterosexual man old enough to be, but not, a pension-age 'uncle' of his.

                            "Man-crush"? ... gimme a break.
