    What I wrote, exactly:

Alan Jones says we shouldn't just give up on young men/young people with problems and toss them away...that we should stay for the long haul.
    I'm with him.

      "Man-crush"? ... gimme a break.
Coulda been worse I could have classed it as a "boy crush" as you seem to see TC as a young boy. Or even an "infatuaton: O

Seriously, I'm now wondering whether you have lived a life not dissimilar down the road TC is heading and you are hellbent that he has the opportunity to follow another path. In that case, unfortunately, you need to realise that you can't change your life through others.

Mind you, I'm probably way off the mark and have you in fits of laughter. But it is Friday arvo after all.

My life is just fine, with "little miss hotter than the sun", who is now not so young :-)...and I wouldn't mind seeing Todd have a better life than he's having just at the moment.

Bozo, he's an immortal as you know.
He said keep Todd and manage him.
I also agree with his opinion.

I'd also like to see Todd on the field and playing well for us next year.

Bozo may be an immortal football player but he's never been the sharpest tool in the shed.

And you would probably find his opinion differed if it was his beloved Manly that was getting their reputation dragged through the mud.

Bozo is one of many who would like to see TC succeed, just not in their backyard. It's fine while someone else takes the risks.

              Bingo!
It is easy to comment when it is not one of your own. He had his own off-field issues with his non-talented useless sons. If only the walls of the Steyne Hotel could talk. Stuff that you can not get away with these days (in fairness, it happened at all clubs).

Bozzo always had Arko with him, and many nasty incidents never saw the light of day. One particular one, involving high profile players, NEVER made it to the press! Will not name names, but it was alot worse than all this anti-easts media circus we have at the moment. Arko had a lot of influence in keeping stuff inhouse! The Arko/Bozo combo made sure the outside world knew little of what happened behind the scenes.

Lol and that moron Terry Hill is his son-in-law lol. Ha ha "lobster-gate" lol. Credit where credit is due, Bozo kept all his shit inhouse. All this Carney circus has got way out of control. Will be interesting how this story ends?

I think Carney should stay, mostly because I loathe lynch mobs and there's been a lynch mob stench about this whole drama from the get-go. And I've got too much self respect to join lynch mobs led by the Daily Telegraph. They've usually got a reason to start this kind of campaign, and I'll bet its not to help the Roosters. In fact, I'd call it sound policy to do exactly the opposite of whatever that rag says, so on the strength of that alone I say he should stay.

                    What, like with Watmough?

Manly kept him and managed him...a work in progress.
He walked all over us 2 weeks ago.

Older and wiser at age 64 this year, having played and coached, seems Bozo is not a fan of just casting young men out of clubs and society if there's a chance of rehabilitation and footy/life success.
His own sons are being successful in life now that they're older.

He's done it all in RL, so I'll go with his idea about Carney.
