Sadly true. He was absolutely steamrolled when he finally got to don an Australian jumper against New Zealand. I can see where the post was coming from but Carney's defence was found out in SOO too. Also he is well past his best judging on British form and injuries. Not part of Trent's culture as the booze bans never lasted. His best role if he ever got back to NRL would seem to be a bit of spark of the bench. Now I'll probably pay for this comment under the logic 'never knock a champion'. But Carney was an inconsistent one.

FPN is back after being sacked for the same offence.

Dunno if people remember, but he was NEVER a dirtbag with us. He had 2 incidents...
1. He got done DUI with 0.02 or something like that in his system the morning after (only done because he was on his Ps).
2. Got sacked for having a quiet drink during an Anasta-imposed booze ban (which wasnt publicly announced and was stupid).

Michael Ennis on the other hand is killing it. Will be one of the top commentators on the game shortly.

He has to use that tough guy voice in commentary, it's so bad it's funny. However I do appreciate the fact that he is prepared to call a spade a spade, unlike most commentators who are too afraid of being critical of players. Particularly on the panel shows, then you have to put up with the rubbish that is James Hooper, Corey Parker etc.
