Makes more sense. It was new.com.au that had reported he was going to miss out completely after not being contacted by Brad Fittler when he was ringing players and telling them they were in the team.

J Trbojevic & De Bellin have both been pretty good so they would have been equal favourites for number 13.
If Tom was FB then I think Jake would of been the lock.
With De Belin at lock I think means they will go with 3 Dragons in the run on team, Vaughan at prop Frizell at second row & De Belin at lock.

Jake T is definitely better than De Belin, I think Sims misses out as he usually plays on the left edge where Boyd plays, rather than the middle.

There must be a spot for Cotric there somewhere. The kid is an absolute freak and has played well in advance of his years for the past 2 years. If this is a rebuild of the NSW team as they say, then players like Cotric, that will surely be the bones of the side for the next 7 years or so, need to be getting a start now.

Agreed, I would have had him there ahead of Tom T. You can never underestimate the value of having specialists in their positions.

Exactly and there are plenty of origin ready players in specialist positions that we don’t to be playing guys out of their position just because we have two or three guys that could fill the same specialist spot.

Latrell will be up against Will chambers the best defensive centre in the game it will be a tough challenge for him. Latrell and Maloney on the left edge in defence is something Qld will be looking to exploit as they both can be caught out of position .
