SYDNEY Roosters five-eighth Todd Carney has broken his silence on reports he wants out of the club, revealing he wants to extend his deal beyond 2012.
Carney admitted he was hurt when he first read that he was reported as being unhappy at the tri-colours under Brian Smith and even laughed at the falseness of the comments.

“I was pretty disappointed someone would write that,” Carney said on Wednesday.

“It’s quite stupid.

“I was pretty hurt by it and contacted the club straight away but we left it.

“It’s good to put it to bed now.

Unfortunately, actions speak louder than words, and Carney's actions are of a player who does not want to be a part of his current club.
