Freddy has picked a red hot side issuing the QLD team a challenge to stop the NSW speedsters and line breakers who will blitz them for 80 minutes non stop. Inglis alone won’t be enough.

On the one hand it may improve the form of some of our players but on the other it may exhaust and burn them out as well as leave our team without its best players which could see us out of the 8 for good. Let’s hope for the best.

Freddy picked a ‘hard to handle’ team which is an ‘in your face’ team that should quickly tire out their forwards and give NSW a glorious series win. We might yet get to see what Mitchell looks like when he gets the ball 10 times instead of 2. If he does and sets the team on fire his price will skyrocket and he’ll be on every club’s ‘must have’ list when he comes off contract. Great bench also. Crichton has been in awesome form and if he plays like that for us then it’ll be money well spent.

Freddy is a bit of a goon, but he knows footy and is hyper competitive and those two things are what matters for the job

After seeing the NSW team Freddy selected I thought QLD are really very worried not as to whether they can win the series or not but whether they can even win one gsme. QLD are idiots for leaving out a player like Ponga. Freddy would have picked him instantly. Also I think Keary missed out mainly because he wasn’t getting enough ball to Latrell. For some strange reason our team just don’t want him to touch the pill which would be suicide in Origin.

Melbourne did alright last year with lots of players missing games during Origin.

As a Roosters fan I wish there was no Origin, but this footy is some of the best and I'm looking forward to watching it.

I’ll be surprised if it’s not a 3-0 whitewash by NSW. The only player that poses any real threat to NSW is Inglis and maybe Slater but without Cronk and Smith they look pretty ordinary. Whatever, I’m predicting a NSW series win.
