  • Prediction for tomorrow night

We are $1.50 favourites against the Sharks, which can only mean one thing. We'll get smoked, like we usually do against the Sharks, revealing just how bad the Dragons were last week. Gallen will make 72 tackles and score a try. Anasta will have a shocker and everyone will be calling for the return of Todd.

Well, maybe not the last part. Fairly confident of the rest though. Or maybe I am turning into Rooster Cogburn....

I read Gallen is struggling to be fit and will most likely not play. I think we will carve them up. The Sharks have won 3 in a row against us I think. It is time for us to beat them. Also, we have not won two matches in a row or carved up a team this year. Tomorrow is it.

What odds another Nathan Gardiner length of the field try - he always scores at least 1 each game against us.

Hopefully that's the only try they score and we manage to score a few more.

I'm cautiously optimistic as we've been pretty good at home this year. But certainly not confident.
Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.

I was way more confident last week against saints. But it would be nice to be pleasantly surprised. Will depend largely on whether Gallen plays and how our backline looks (SKD has been very damaging against the sharks in recent history). Their weakness is their edge defence so if our attacking potency is blunted then we may not be able to take advantage and could lose a slogfest in the middle. Tupou is also in doubt. He tore us apart down our right edge with second phase last game so his absence would also be helpful.

Don't know if it is accurate but there is mail on a Sharks supporters forum that Gallen is out. Tupou still doubtful and possibly Gordon as well.

I'm with you mate, Gallen played injured last week and was very average. The young playing group in our pack have somthing to prove and SKD will want to take some good performances into next season.

He'll score a hat trick, and Nick will make him a 3 year offer for 500K a year to replace Mini, and end up cutting him after 12 months after a massive month long bender at Northies.

Thats how Easts do business. Im surprised we have any millionaires on the board

They definately wont win if their fans have this kind of attitude.

The boys played with a lot of purpose and commitment last week. I think they will take a lot of confidence out of that. Their performance was better than their wins against Penrith and the Bulldogs where is was a bit more like touch footy.

As long as we can assemble some sort of backline, we will win this one.
