The mention of Ivan Cleary taking over from Robbo is laughable. So where talking 2020 & you think the Roosters are going to sign Ivan as coach with his son Nathan yet the Roosters win the comp in 2019 & the Tigers come 10th. Wake up to yourselves.
Robbo's going nowhere except keeping the Roosters a top 4 side & Nathan will end up playing 5/8 with his dad at the Tigers.

Pretty sure ponga is only on about 400k this year

What about all the media getting on the Canberra bandwagon. Have a look at their draw. They are virtually no chance of making the finals. And that doesn't even take into account that their coach has only made the finals twice since Fittler retired..

                Hehe.
No, not suggesting Rupert had a great respect for the traditions of the game.
One of the ironies of it all is that without Super League and Freddy signing with the ARL, he might never have left Penrith to come to the Roosters (and, who knows, it might have been us, not Souths, that was dumped from the comp).

I think it would be better not to mention it. It was certainly nothing good, potential front page Daily telegraph, etc. No need to bring it up again. I'm guessing we are in the same ballpark, right?

I believe we're on the same wavelength and if so, it's not commonly known and widely mentioned.

Not going to pretend I’m in the know but there was whispers of a video last year and that being the reason we got him cheap.

He seems to be doing a lot better on and off the field though so I’d be very happy with a 2 year deal.

War Chest for Nathan? No thanks.
                            Give me Lammy for now.
Spend the money on a decent hooker, prop and right centre.

Because he is a good player & he was cheap.

Robert Jennings would be a good signing. Off contract and is a natural right side player. He has a combination already with Crichton.
