  • Radley re-signs - 5 years

Just got the notification from the club. Radley has committed to the Chooks until the end of 2023.

How bloody good is that? Champion bloke, and champion player.

The Sydney Roosters are pleased to announce that local junior Victor Radley has extended his commitment to the Tricolours until at least the end of 2023.

A product of eastern suburbs junior club Clovelly Crocodiles, 20-year-old Radley has progressed through the Roosters lower grades and made 17 appearances in the NRL since making his debut with the Club in 2017, 14 of those so far in 2018.

"There are no words for how proud I am to represent the Roosters, I just love the Club," said Radley.

"I'm learning so much from Robbo, the coaches and all the senior boys, and this is where I want to build a career, so I'm stoked that I'll continue to be a part of the team here," he added.

Roosters recruitment manager Adam Hartigan was pleased to have Radley extend his commitment to the Club.

"Victor is an instinctive footballer with an outstanding work ethic. His enthusiasm is infectious and just as importantly, he is a good man away from the field," said Hartigan.

"With his best football still ahead of him, its great news for the Roosters to have Victor locked in to the Club's long-term plans," he added.

Fantastic news and congratulations to Victor.

Does anyone know if his brother (Lou?) is still playing?

Normally I'm not a fan of long term deals but I'm over the moon about this one. He will continue to improve and is a special talent and is going to give us a lot of joy over the next five years .

Very good news. I wonder what kind of incentives and money he has been offered.

This news has brighten my day further!!!!!! Great move by the club, the reason why we should not go to the market to keep buying players whilst our home grown talent will continue to impress

Every club has to go to market.
Truth is, we do it less than most.

Yeah Rads! Great news! Cordner, Crighton and Radley. Now that’s a backrow. Hopefully he can bulk up a bit like Matto did.
