If Wing does come back, how does the team fit in Jake Friend, James Aubusson and Craig Wing? Friend is an out and out 9, JAubs could play 7 but Jnr Jnr is there and Wing, well, where do you put him if positions 6, 7, 9 and 13 are already taken? The only number is 14 and I doubt he'd be happy with that.
I would like to see the club stick with young Friend, he is really starting to stand up and for a young bloke - not many other 18 year old hookers making 40 tackles.
Wing is high maintenance, yes he is in good form but it's time to look to youth

You can't be serious.
Aubbusun and Freind wouldn't tie Wing's bootlaces.

Completely serious RC.
Friend is only young and I can see the virtue of sticking with him and being patient as he develops into what Jake Friend of the Titans is to them.
JAubs was great at the drizzle and has been less so at the Roosters - why? Injuries, coaching and stupid game plans that cramp his style. Besides that, his tackling technique is near perfect, he can kick 40/20s and he can run effectively from D/H if he is permitted to do so.
Where does Wing play if the Roosters retain Friend and JAubs as I suspect they will.
if the club is serious about this youth policy, then wing will not be re signed.
Wing had his chance, just because he is ruing his desicion, does not mean he can come running back !

At a football club, there’s a holy trinity – the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don’t come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques.
