  • Wing to return?

The author of this article is Steve Mascord and I don't know how credible he or this story is but here's the link for what it's worth ...

I'd take him back in a milisecond.

I had heard that he met with Nick a while back and had been told that if he shows some form he could come back...

I can not back up this claim..

        He has certainly shown form..

I would love to see him back with us...

If Wing does come back, how does the team fit in Jake Friend, James Aubusson and Craig Wing? Friend is an out and out 9, JAubs could play 7 but Jnr Jnr is there and Wing, well, where do you put him if positions 6, 7, 9 and 13 are already taken? The only number is 14 and I doubt he'd be happy with that.

I would like to see the club stick with young Friend, he is really starting to stand up and for a young bloke - not many other 18 year old hookers making 40 tackles.

Wing is high maintenance, yes he is in good form but it's time to look to youth

                You can't be serious.
Aubbusun and Freind wouldn't tie Wing's bootlaces.

                  Completely serious RC.

Friend is only young and I can see the virtue of sticking with him and being patient as he develops into what Jake Friend of the Titans is to them.

JAubs was great at the drizzle and has been less so at the Roosters - why? Injuries, coaching and stupid game plans that cramp his style. Besides that, his tackling technique is near perfect, he can kick 40/20s and he can run effectively from D/H if he is permitted to do so.

Where does Wing play if the Roosters retain Friend and JAubs as I suspect they will.

If Wing comes back LR, there is no need for players like James and Jake...sorry...

Like I said........Wing would rather be at Easts, have a feeling Rusty will block any kind of return though.

Exactly. Just what we need around the ruck. Should never have left.

Wing Walked once, he can keep on walking !

if the club is serious about this youth policy, then wing will not be re signed.

Wing had his chance, just because he is ruing his desicion, does not mean he can come running back !

Why would he be rueing a decision that right now looks like a good decision?
I agree with you with respect to the youth policy.
