just when I thought the NRL couldn't get any more stupid, James Hooper is reporting negotiations are well advanced to kick off the 2019 season with the Vermin playing someone in the US.

Perhaps eventually? I was thinking there might be a few athletes over there that don't make the cut for their other major codes and could try their hand at the greatest game ever played.

Better yet, get them hooked as kids so they grow up with it.
