Definitely a few significant losses in there without mentioning Morley or Soward.

I agree with that statement and based on value alone i would have kept the other Paea and Williams as they wouldn't have been big signings

and now Shackleton and Sia... a couple of others like D Williams, Kirk, Lett and Plum are probably to a lesser extent in that they haven't thrived at their other clubs yet, but they are still talented players that we could have used.

Harrison, Walker, Hodges, Monaghan, Crocker, Flannery, Wing, Cayless, Finch, Morley, Fitzgibbon...we could do very little about those, otherwise, they were for the best anyway. But the rest...

20/20 hindsight is a beautiful thing.

Most of the blokes on that list copped plenty of criticism from the rank and file and with a couple of exceptions I don't recall anyone making a fuss over thier departure.

A lot of them were forced out by the cap, or we could not compete with ESL's offers. The top list were players who pretty much were either making their name in FG for us, or were major potential players that didn't get a fair go.

Hannant, Shillington or Tamou would be much better in terms of value for money than O'Meley, Williams and Winterstein added speed to our backline, and I believe Soward and L'estrange provide spark, something our team lacks.
