Not a good picture. Ball has cleared the ruck. Players are allowed to sprint out of the line. We lost. Move on.

Irrespective of picture, I didn't know hoffman and glasby had the speed of addo-carr.

I thought Cronk was better than letting two field goal attempts get charged down. Perhaps he had the wrong jersey on at the time.

I haven't seen a picture that has shown Melbourne offside yet.

That's not to say they weren't but watching live and seeing replays there's no shot of Melbourne as the ball clears the ruck.

I actually think even if Cronk kicked it we would have been penalised for Fergo's contact on Billy Slater who ironically if Fergo let run at Cronk would have been an offside.

We failed to set the kick up god enough for Cronk. It was telegraphed and something the coaches and team will work on.
            ..it’ll be interesting to see

Slater should have been penalised for not being Square at marker. He got up after tackling Fergo and ran through the marker area then on to Cronk. I have never seen anything like it.

Every team does this at this stage of the game. Only certain teams seem to get penalties from it though ........like the BRONCOS

Surprised 9 didn't show a replay. Fergo's great run was always going to make it hard for the Storm to be onside.

He probably would have been had he not taken a dive from the Ferguson contact thus rendering himself passive in then play.

It was actually quite comical what Slater did, he ran around Ferguson as if he was a cone and he was doing an agility course. As if that would suffice as being considered 1 of the 2 markers.

Therein lies the rub. Why weren't Keary or Lattrell positioned as options to take the FG attempt? Roosters are a dumb side at times.

You're going to tell me that:

1.) Glasby and Hoffman, in the 80th minute of the game, were able to run the 10+ metres after Fergo's break and then the 10+ metres required to make the charge down in the time it took to play the ball and pass to Cronk?
2.) Glasby and Hoffman were able to hit full speed and cover the 3 or 4 metres in the time it took for the dummy half to touch the ball once it had cleared the ruck?

They've either gone early or not hit the line, Slater wasn't square either. The sad thing is I don't expect to get the penalty, but the vermin and broncos have both been gifted games under similar circumstances. There lies the issue.

One would think Fergo's break would result in the offside call going in our favour... but the game managers have zero feel for the game.

We haven’t been able to set up a field goal since Messenger retired.

It was bizarre and highlighted what we were up against.
