    Not happy in rugby either.
The lord hath damned him to hell for bigotry.

This season he has gone from one of the best players in Yawnion who attracts big sponsorship $$$ to a religious nutter who clubs are gonna have to awkwardly tiptoe around when involved in discussion with sponsors.

Isreal Folau would be a better choice then SBW IMO.

So long as somebody closes down his twitter account. Both are religious nutters who play good footy... the difference is that SBW doesnt piously tweet about how all the great unwashed are going to eternal damnation when they die.

Can mods ban the idiot that started this thread please?

I never said it would happen. But plenty of ppl seem to think it's in the pipeline. I was just wondering if anyone had heard anything substantial. Like from a mates uncle who got told by his brothers best mate.

Not sure if ya got banned John but as you may have seen, Sonny is back in town and that talk has continued. Even from himself in the political type way a matured media performer does.

With the NRL desperate for fans and ratings I wouldn’t put it past them to allow, even a brief stint. This would also seem plausible given Greenberg and Beattie met with Nick to discuss alternative options to improve the game. Nick would push the star power.

On the same note, Sonny talked up Quade Cooper being courted by NRL clubs..
            ..it’ll be interesting to see

No thanks...too old, too 'worn out.'

He as much said that he struggled to play well for us in 2014.
No way he'll be any better 5 years later.
SBW carried an injury for almost the entire 2014 season, so I wouldn't judge him too harshly on that

Nah, instead he posts biased opinions about how rigged other sports are in support of a lunatic mouth runner who thinks the whole world is against him cause he is black.

He downed tools because he wasn't happy with the "attitude" of some of the players. I suspect Maloney got under his skin. He seems to do that a bit.

Sonny said he liked proper footy players like Maloney who play what’s in front of them don’t play structured in his interview with Matt Johns.

He also said he is getting his coaching credentials. Would love to have him working with our young talent.

JC wouldn't the "mates uncle who got told by his brothers best mate" be either just "his dads best mate" or his other uncles best mate so simply "his uncles best mate"?

I have a mate who is a serious Born Again.

I asked him once, "I understand your religion and sometimes I can sail close to the wind with what I say. Does it worry you?"

He said, 'Why would I care? You are the one going to hell."

                            I thought it was hilarious.

Plus a few others, most of which have left for another club, enjoyed frequent visits to local watering holes.
