I can understand that selection. Turbo can cover wing fullback and centres (which he ended up playing) and Teddy is a fullback/winger.

Tedesco played 3 games at Centre for Italy when Mini was the fullback and last year he played No.6 for Italy.
Meninga obviously has his favorites not sure Tedesco and DCE or Pearce are on that list.
